If you are having trouble with cookies, it is usually down to 1 of 2 things:

Browser does not support cookies

If you are not using browser versions Navigator 3.0 or Internet 3.0 or later, then your browser does not support cookies. You will need to install one of these cookie supporting browsers.

At this time, these browsers are offered free-of-charge at the Web addresses listed below. These programs can occupy a significant amount of memory. Check the chart below for memory requirements.

Need to enable cookies
If you have had trouble interacting with Web sites in the past, you may need to enable your cookie settings. Consult this chart for instructions.

Browser MacIntosh Windows '95 or NT
Internet Explorer 4.0 1) Go to the Edit menu at the top of your screen and select Preferences.
2) Select Receiving Files. Then select Cookies.
3) Select the option you prefer.

Internet Explorer 3.0 1) Go to the Edit menu at the top of your screen and select Preferences.

You should not have trouble accepting cookies with Internet Explorer 3.0.
Netscape 4.0 1) Go to the Edit menu at the top of your screen and select Preferences.

Netscape 3.0 You should not have trouble accepting cookies with Netscape 3.0. You should not have trouble accepting cookies with Netscape 3.0.

If you still have trouble accepting cookies, check the date on your computer. If the date shown is much different from today, your computer will forget the cookie. Adjust the date and log in again. Further, you may have installed an application that monitors or blocks cookies. Try disabling this application before logging in again.
